In 2004 our Founder and CTO, Steven Timcke took an interest in and began researching axial-flux electric motors and over the following years developed, together with his team, innovative new coreless and yokeless axial-flux motors capable of incredible efficiencies and power to weight ratios.

 

When this new technology was introduced to automotive OEM’s it soon became apparent that the antiquated battery technology available at the time was unable to adequately support these motors.

 

A decade later, our new innovative proprietary axial-flux motors have been designed to take advantage of the incredible advances in battery technology and we now provide the automotive EV, marine and aerospace industries with axial-flux motors capable of insane efficiency and power to weight.

PRODUCTS

PTS160

Proprietary technology and unique design enable this innovative axial-flux motor range to produce scalable peak power from 250kWp to north of 350kWp with class-leading efficiency and power to weight in the most compact envelope available.

 

This range is available in 400V or 800V and with a diameter of less than 160mm, this incredible powerhouse is capable of fitting into the chassis of most existing vehicles.

PTS230

Proprietary technology and unique design enable our larger innovative axial-flux motor range to produce scalable peak power from 400kWp to north of 600kWp with class-leading efficiency and power to weight, all in one of the most compact envelopes available.

 

This range is available in 400V or 800V and with a diameter of less than 230mm, provides compact primary and/or secondary propulsion for virtually any hybrid or battery only EV, marine or aerospace application.

PTS300

This range of our innovative axial-flux motors offers bespoke configurations to our OEM’s requiring in excess of 1000kW for heavy automotive, marine and aerospace applications.

Our innovative technology and seamless scalability make these high torque ultra-compact axial-flux motors extremely capable and efficient in virtually any automotive, marine or aerospace application and can be easily adapted to satisfy our OEM’s unique requirements.
